FAQ

Is the route difficult?

Not really. Denmark is mostly flat, and the route is designed to be challenging because of the distance — not the climbing.

Can I ride a road bike?

No. The route includes gravel sections and rough terrain. We recommend a gravel bike or MTB setup.

Is there a GPX file?

Yes. All registered riders will receive the GPX route before the event.

Can I camp during the race?

Yes. Denmark has campsites all over the country, making it easy to stop and rest along the route.

What tires should I use?

We recommend a minimum tire width of 45 mm for comfort, grip and reliability.

Is it suitable for first-time ultra riders?

Yes. Denmark is a very safe and accessible country to ride in. If the race becomes too challenging, it is easy to stop along the route and get back to Copenhagen by train.

How much climbing is there?

Approximately 1,200 meters of elevation gain across the entire route.

Are e-bikes allowed?

No. E-bikes are not allowed in the race.
